I much preferred Bangkok over Chiang Mai. My personal opinion is that
Chiang Mai is large and crowded, much like Bangkok, but without the charm that
I think Bangkok still has. Nevertheless, the people in Thailand are very
friendly everywhere.
I watched a snake show and was invited to join in. One of the handlers had
been bitten by a cobra. Apparently, the venom destroys the tissue - his hand
was pretty mangled.
